Reblogged from the acquired taste.
I always will remind [my future son/daughter] to never toss out all of their hard work. It doesn’t necessarily apply to dance (ballet here). In general, don’t throw away any accomplishments and hard work. Having an object to look at and remind ourselves of the story behind the wrinkles and discoloration should always put a smile on our face and remind ourselves of how much we’ve grown and experienced.
Throughout this entire post all I thought about were my notebooks that are now wrinkled, discoloured, and unstable.(Source : wherethehipstersroam)
